Washington D.C. Public Defender Service ReEntry Navigator
The ReEntry Navigator was a large-scale publication project completed over approximately eight months. Joining during the initial concept development phase, I served as the lead designer throughout the project, helping establish the visual direction and user experience for the publication from the ground up.
Once the design framework was approved, I managed the layout and production of the entire publication, overseeing content organization, copy flow, design revisions, proofreading, image integration, and document structure. I also developed an automated table of contents and ensured consistency across all chapters and supporting materials.
The final deliverable was a comprehensive, 508-compliant resource consisting of 16 chapters and more than 930 pages, complete with a detailed table of contents and appendix. The publication was produced for both print and digital distribution, ensuring accessibility and usability for a broad audience. This project demonstrates my expertise in large-format publication design, complex document management, and accessible design standards.
